Start the winter full of energy. It’s time for detoxification!

We live in a toxic time. From the food we eat to the air we breathe, poisons constantly depress our health and disturb its fragile harmony. The body’s natural regulators work slow and hard, so our body signals a lack of energy with fatigue, headaches, poor memory, and sometimes skin changes.

Our body has developed a natural way of detoxification through the work of the kidneys, liver and sweating, but unfortunately toxins are not excreted in sufficient quantities due to excessive food intake, lack of physical activity or due to reduced function of these organs with age.

However, it is not yet the end of the world, there are still solutions we can take individually to enable the well-being of our own body. The first step is to detoxify, or cleanse the body of toxins. There are a number of activities that support the functioning of the lymphatic system in the human body and enable more effective drainage of toxins. In addition, if practiced on a regular basis, they allow through purification to restore the natural balance of the intestinal micro-biome, which some scientists have long called the human “second brain”.

Here are some of the things you can do right away to start this winter with energy and excitement!

Drink plenty of water

It is the fastest, easiest and completely free way to cleanse your body. Water, especially right after waking up, is a great way to increase your energy level. Just drink water and you will immediately feel better. Also start each day with a glass of warm water and squeezed lemon.

Replace coffee with tea

It may sound like science fiction, but try replacing coffee with tea for at least a few days. It can be consumed in large quantities, and if you choose organic, it can be a haven for your kidneys.

Green tea is known for its high content of antioxidants that cleanse every organ in our body of toxins. Also nettle tea cleanses the blood, increases the appetite for healthy snacks and increases energy.

Eat muesli instead of chocolate croissants

We all know that we need a certain amount of energy that we get from sugars in our daily diet. It gives us the strength to perform our work activities and satisfies the need for sweet delights. Muesli have a higher energy value, more protein, and much less sugar.

Do not forget the physical activity, and of course healthy Smoothie with yourself!

You do not have to go to the gym or run while you are on your feet to stay in top shape. For starters, it’s just a matter of moving around with a simple stroll, and as you improve your fitness, you can also increase the intensity of your workout.

Also when you are in a hurry and do not have enough time, the correct choice is Smoothie.

Go to the sauna

One of the oldest methods of detoxification is the sauna. It helps cleanse and rejuvenate the skin, reduce stress, destroys pathogenic cells in the body, improves artery elasticity, lowers high blood pressure, helps with heart and skin diseases. Also increased sweating releases toxins into the body. The sauna can also be combined with a swimming pool to improve circulation.

However, what is most important after any detoxification is to continue with moderate and nutrient-rich foods. Eating vegetables every day, moderately consuming alcohol, avoiding cigarettes and preparing food at home is something you need to do all your life. Detoxification is a temporary refreshment, and proper nutrition is a way of life.
