There are a dozen different versions of this diet, but the most popular is one that does not consist of boring eating just one product, but includes different ones. It could be argued that this is a variation of Dr. Atkinson’s diet where the focus is on the importance of reduced carbohydrate intake.
This version will eat 2 or more eggs for breakfast, and will include vegetables with low carbohydrates or meat, as well as grapefruit.
Lunch and dinner include either another serving of eggs or small portions of meat.
Low carb salad and vegetables are allowed, while fruit is limited to one or two slices a day.
Example of a diet plan:
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs, 1/2 grapefruit
Lunch: roast chicken and lettuce
Dinner: 2 egg omelet with spinach and tomato
